Meet Betsy 🦍🛞 She spent her younger years in a sanctuary before being moved to a zoo. When the zoo lost funding, Betsy was released into the wild.. Shortly after, a trail camera captured Betsy dragging around an old tire just like the one she had in captivity.. They knew EXACTLY who it was. The tire made her feel safe, It reminded her of home and that’s when they realized Betsy’s home wasn’t the wild.. She was brought back to a sanctuary, where she’s now safe, cared for and still has her Many bonders, Many more overlooked..
